Fat Removal Icewaves penetrate deeply into the skin to create apoptosis by heating the fat tissue to a temperature of between
50-55°C. This disrupts the subcutaneous fat cells and damages the cell membranes, causing them to break down and be naturally
eliminated via the body’s lymphatic system.
Skin Tightening
The heat produced by the microwaves causes an immediate contraction of
collagen fibres in the dermis and stimulates collagen production, resulting in a tightening effect and an improvement in skin
laxity over a period of time.
Cellulite
There are many factors such as genetics, sex, age and amount of fat on your body, that determine how much cellulite you have and
how visible it is. Cellulite is very common, but it is more prevalent in women than in men because of the difference in our skin
structures. Cellulite is formed when chambers of built-up fat push up against the skin while weakened connective collagen fibres
pull it down, resulting in an uneven (‘orange-peel’) surface.
Icewaves is absorbed by these fibrous connective tissue, solubilising old collagen while regenerating new collagen fibres.
Simultaneously as fat cells get eliminated, it reduces the compression against the tissue, resulting in a reduction in cellulite.
